We have created “RDM” to help orphaned children by assisting families in international adoption process.

We are all adoptive parents, families of one or several children, with biological children or not. Some of us are parents since 2004 whereas others see their children becoming adults. 

Most of us have good experience of international adoption process with previous implication in others organizations and sometimes important responsibilities (vice-president, country’s coordinator, administrators).

“RDM” works according to the ethical reference of the convention of the Hague  and the convention of the rights of the child, both ratified by France.  

We consider that intercountry adoption is subsidiary to internal adoption. However, the family is the best environment for a child’s development: offering a child a substitute family, even through intercountry adoption, should prevail over his/her placement or long-term residence in an institution because for the harmonious blooming of his personality, the child must grow in a family, in a climate of happiness, love and comprehension. 

The members of “RDM” want to provide to the families a good preparation for adoption and will assist families before and after adoption of the child. We commit ourselves to respect the laws of the countries with which we will be in relation, international conventions and the rights of the child. 

We are all volunteers and the first children adopted with the assistance of “RDM” will be our happiness.
